In every state Ive lived in - there is a sightly dusty, hard to find surplus electronics shop. H&R Distributors is just that place for Portland Maine. I have bought 7400 series ICs, LEDS, micro switches, plugs and all kinds of stuff! They even sell the Arduio stuff.
This place is awesome! Some of the prices beat internet prices and not only that, the staff are more technical than most people you could ever encounter in the hobby world. The staff is pretty knowledgable but most of my old-world ttl circuit design topics are too old, but every time I come in here it is a positive experience!
