Drawing People

Notes that I gathered from some of the best artists out there and refer to regularly. Once I have the skills I think are worth passing on, I'll do so below. So far, the best advice is just to draw! Live with a little pad and pencil at all times and sketch the shapes of doorways, store logos, curves of peoples faces... anything. Want proof that you can get better even if you think you suck? Draw a circle right now, about 3" in diameter, and in one fluid motion without stopping. Pretty awkward/egg shaped right? Do the circle exercise every day, during meetings etc.. and you will find that you will get pretty good at making perfect freehand circles in just a few days. Imagine what you can do with people!
