Alright - Tucson living keeps getting better! Check out Ed, he's got his own mobile donut shop and this baby is sweet. Cleaner than most restaurants - Ed's mini donut kitchen-on-wheels has an automated donut maker that cranks out a product that puts Krispy Kreme to shame. Dave and I made our way over to the shiny cube and Ed was just closing up shop. He insisted on giving us his remaining stash, fresh out of the fryer, for free.

Oh yeah. On our next visit to casa de Ed, he ran out of batter and AGAIN and insisted our next set would be free. As a mini review - the sample that we got on the first day was given to us with a caveat. After Ed explained that the gas regulator was malfunctioning he said "... takes free of charge. No I insist but remember that these are not representative of my products quality."

With that, we sat on the bench in front of the county courthouse and enjoyed the PERFECT minis covered with cinnamon and sugar. Hybrid a Krispy Kreme donut with a churro, then shrink to the size a ping pong ball and stuff them into a little white paper bag, Now thats a $3 treat!
